About Sense-One Inc
Our History
Sense-One Inc was founded in 2022 to address housing well-being in your local community through various outreaches. We accept household items including furniture and household goods, decor items as well as clothing. We provide Estate clear-out services to the Reality industry. We also seek to help by receiving construction overage and extra unused product as tax exempt donation. The donated items may come from commercial and residential contractors as well as members of the local community who have extra unused construction tools and material that may be of use.
The products and materials are then used in our -Widow's Peak Ministry -in the repair and upkeep of the homes of those with need of repairs. The needs may range from the floor to the roof.
Nominees for free repair of their home comes from community petition. Send us an email at jpholden@gmail.com to nominate a person by giving us a brief description of their need. Projects are selected monthly.
Donated Material Retail Outlet- The Hand-Me-DownTown.
The Hand-Me-Down Town is our online re-sale outlet Via Facebook Marketplace for the resale of new and unused construction materials and gently used construction tools. Proceeds go to the Widow's Peak Nominee's projects as well as our Second Chances Employment Program.
Our Partners
We partner with a variety of organizations and businesses in our community to provide employment and volunteer opportunities for those who may have special construction skill as well as those re-entering community after incarceration or rehabilitation in our Second Chances Employment Program. We believe helping all to reconnect to the power of giving will transform us, our local communities, and the world.
Our volunteers
For our more advanced construction needs we invite skilled work crews to volunteer their time and talents, including roofing, flooring, cabinetry and painting to name a few of the more advanced skillsets that may require state licencing. Contractor Site Pickup Services
Contractors, tired of throwing away perfectly good materials at the end of the job? Can't stand to watch any more good product being hauled away to the landfill? Disappointed at the reduced refund given by suppliers when trying to return materials? Then join us by registering your jobsite for pickup of unused excess materials including wood and others materials that may have been unneeded, the wrong fit or simply left over from a change of mind. Get the value of your material in a tax deduction for a chatritable contribution to Sense-One. We pick up the material and it is used on a current Widow's Peak Project or resold at our Hand-Me-DownTown Retail Outlet.
